I chose John's Mobile Mechanic strictly from the reviews, and it was the best decision for sure!! I can't say enough good things about John! I mean he truly saved me! He is such a nice,honest man who genuinely cares about doing the right thing...(wich unfortunately is hard to come by these days?) He stays extremely busy,(a very good sign!!) but he is ABSOLUTLEY worth the little wait!!! I was so blessed to find such an honest mechanic..My 2000 Honda Civic broke down with a locked up a/c compressor. He ordered the parts and got to me as soon as he could at a fraction of the price everyone else quoted me! If you need a trustworthy mechanic to help you stay safe in your vehicle, text John!! Thank you John for being what is missing in this crazy,intimidating World of a woman trying to find someone HONEST to work on her vehicle! May God continue to Bless you so you are able to continue Blessing others! Thank you....

For Johns mobile mechanic LLC, 742 Oliver Road Montgomery, AL Don’t get carried away with the FAKE Reviews - STAY AWAY Please avoid taking your car to this mechanic. He is very dishonest, telling lies is his actual 24hr job, he will put your life at risk and stop communicating once he gets the money. We took our car to him and we informed him that we would be traveling 5hrs back home with our baby afterwards. He assured us that the car was fixed, we paid him in full and it was all lies. After the trip, the same issues occurred again. My husband tried multiple times to communicate the issues to him but he refused to respond. We got lies like I am with a customer. My husband also went to his workshop multiple times, he is never there. He put our family’s life at risk, took our hard earned money, wasted our time. Eventually, we had to take the car to another shop. We found out he did not replace the parts as discussed. I have attached pictures here, as you can see he only replaced the part in the middle. The other ones he took money for were in bad shape. There are so many great mechanics in Montgomery, avoid this one. Save your time and money, avoid the stress. It was a traumat

I don't recommend him to anyone. He gave me a quote, I paid, he didn't buy the new parts, he left them the same. This guy is dishonest, the car still has the same problem. It's a rip-off. I paid him $700 and he won't give me a receipt.

My Car is very niche and rare but that didn’t seem to bother john at all, very transparent honest hard working dude, he might be hard to reach sometimes but the best mechanics are often busy and john is a man of his word.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We cannot say enough good things about John and his team. The first time we found John was for a last-minute emergency — literally the day before we were supposed to take our daughter to college in Florida (August 2025). John didn’t hesitate. He sent one of his guys out to our home in Clanton, got the job done, and gave us peace of mind for a long drive. That alone felt like a true blessing. And here we are again. We’re heading to Florida for a family funeral, and once more, John came through when we needed help at the last minute — this time with my van. Another local shop quoted us $2,200 to replace the oil cooler/housing and valve cover gasket. John handled it for a fraction of that cost, with honesty, skill, and zero pressure. John and his crew are reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about people — not just the repair. Whether you make the drive to his shop or have him come to you, don’t hesitate. He and his guys are absolutely worth it. So incredibly thankful for John and his team. Thank you, John!
